Sacred Noise.
The Ask: A short-form documentary exploring any topic.
This project, titled Sacred Noise, examines how music functions as more than sound—as a spiritual language that connects us to history, memory, and the divine. Through personal reflection, archival references, and an interview with a musician (my dad), the mini-doc traces how music evokes visceral reactions—goosebumps, chills, vibrations in the body—that point to something deeper than entertainment. Set against the cultural backdrop of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners (2025) and rooted in African diasporic traditions, this documentary reveals music as a force of healing, expression, and ancestral resonance. At just three minutes, it is both a personal journey and a meditation on the sacred role of sound in shaping identity and spiritual connection.
